At One Day Studio, your privacy matters. I’m committed to protecting your personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).

1. What Information I Collect
I only collect personal information when it’s necessary to provide my services. This includes:
  • Details you share through my Dubsado contact form (name, email, business info).
  • Information shared via email, social media, or direct communication.
  • Appointment details through Calendly.
  • Bank transfer information (name, account reference, payment amount).
I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has shared personal details, please contact me so I can remove it.

2. Cookies & Third-Party Services
My website is hosted on Showit, which doesn’t use cookies directly.
Some third-party tools may collect general, non-personal information (e.g., pages visited, time on site):
  • Google Analytics – tracks website traffic (opt-out via browser settings).
  • Dubsado – manages inquiries and projects (data stored in the US).
  • Calendly – schedules meetings (data stored in the US).
  • Notion – project dashboards (data stored in the US).
By using my website, you consent to these tools processing data according to their privacy policies. You can also control or disable cookies in your browser.

3. How I Use Your Information
Your information is only used to:
  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
  • Schedule meetings via Calendly.
  • Provide my web-design services.
  • Process payments made via bank transfer.
I never sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes.

4. Storage & Protection
  • I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
  • Data submitted via Dubsado is securely stored in their system.
  • Bank transfer records are stored with New Zealand banks.
  • Data from third-party tools may be stored overseas.
No online system is 100% secure, but I take appropriate measures to safeguard your information. I only keep client data as long as necessary to provide services or meet legal obligations, then it’s securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can:
  • Access your personal information.
  • Request corrections or updates.
  • Request deletion (unless legally required to keep it).
  • Withdraw consent for data use.

6. Breach Notifications
If a privacy breach occurs that poses a risk of serious harm, I will notify both you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC).
